What is Online Literacy Instruction?
Online Literacy Instruction (OLI) is described as "instruction that occurs—at least partially if not fully—in a computer-based, Internet, or intranet instructional setting" (GSOLE, 2019). This section of my portfolio was compiled during my time becoming certified in Basic OLI through the Global Society of Online Literacy Educators (GSOLE). As described by GSOLE, OLI involves a variety of different learning styles and environments, which the key elements are defined in the graphic below:
